Mediumship, Healing and Spiritualism

Mental Mediumship

Mental mediumship is the type most often demonstrated in public. It is when the medium receives evidence from Spirit and relays what they are being given. Its objective is to prove continuity of life after physical death and to offer healing and help to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, or searching for guidance.

There are 3 main ways a person doing mental mediumship receives their information:

        • Clairvoyance-The ability to see Spirit.
        • Clearaudience -The ability to hear Spirit.
        • Clearsentience - The ability to sense or feel Spirit.

Physical Mediumship

Physical mediumship is when the sitter is fully aware of what is going on in the room. Whether it be raps, audible noises, making solid objects move or making them appear or disappear, or materialization of the person from Spirit through the development of ectoplasm.

Trance Mediumship

A form of mental mediumship in which the medium is overshadowed by the Spirit communicator and allowed to speak directly through the medium.

Spiritual Healing

Healing is the channeling of energies through the healer to reenergize the patient to deal with mental or physical illness or injury. Healing often helps with the speed and extent of recovery from serious illness and major surgery and it compliments conventional medicine as well as working with other healing modalities.

Spiritualism

"Spiritualism Is a Science" because it investigates, analyzes and classifies facts and manifestations demonstrated from the Spirit side of life.

"Spiritualism Is a Philosophy" because it studies the laws of nature both on the seen and unseen sides of life and basis its conclusions upon present observed facts. It accepts statements of observed facts of past ages and conclusions drawn therefrom, when sustained by reason and results of observed facts of the present day.

"Spiritualism Is a Religion" because it strives to understand and to comply with the Physical, Mental and Spiritual Laws of Nature, which are the laws of God.
